The candidate must be educated to a degree level with a strong background in IT and a specialty in database systems within a Microsoft environment.

You must have thorough and detailed knowledge of SQL Server 2005 and be able to reference previous work where you have been instrumental in the design and implementation of a SQL 2005 database solution using database synchronization, automatic failover and/or other technologies used to implement robust database architectures.

The development team at Groundspeak has been working to re-architect the Geocaching.com and Waymarking.com web sites. The SQL Server Architect is needed to design and implement the database architecture, working closely with the developers, to meet the implementation deadline.
